While moving data center equipment for our customers exposes us to new advancements in technology every day, nothing comes close to the excitement of quantum computing’s potential. Quantum computing is in its infancy, but we are glad to be a part of transporting some models around the country today. Quantum computing is available today, but its impact is still largely unknown. The physical properties of quantum computing are certainly going to allow greater computing tasks to happen. Computations that can’t be handled on today’s fastest computers will be possible with further developed quantum computing. Researchers expect decades of further development to reach the potential that quantum computing has to offer.
