Clancy Relocation & Logistics Receives Recognition for Sustainability Efforts
ST. LOUIS, MO (March 10, 2016) – United Van Lines announced that Clancy Relocation & Logistics, headquartered in Patterson, NY was recognized at the “Extending” Level for its annual Sustainability Challenge. The award was presented by United’s Director of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Rebecca Peterson at the company’s national sales and operations conference, recently held in St. Louis.
To participate in the challenge, each agent had to complete and submit a scorecard reflecting their sustainability efforts during 2015. Agents were then placed in categories based upon score, with 97 being the maximum. Clancy Relocation & Logistics earned a top 10 score of 47 for performing sustainable actions such as using renewable solar energy, energy efficient and motion-sensing lighting, achieving fleet SmartWay certification, R2 certified e-waste recycling, recycling materials and using reusable containers for office moving.
United launched the Sustainability Challenge to support its agents that incorporate sustainable practices throughout their organizations. It is also a way to recognize agents for making improvements to their business while positively affecting the triple bottom line of people, planet and profits.
