During the evening of October 2nd, a large gathering of New York and Connecticut area Realtors united to support the Wounded Warrior Project.
Guests enjoyed comedy shows, delicious wine tasting provided by Griffin Estate Wines, food and more at the Amber Room Colonnade in Danbury, CT. What was so important about this event was that it brought together local New York and Connecticut Women’s Council of Realtors members and affiliates together for a great cause. Perhaps even more outstanding is that this was the 2nd year for such a fundraising networking event led by Women’s Council of Realtors chapter presidents and Clancy. Last year’s event helped raise funds for families in Newtown, CT.
Tom Grimes of Clancy Relocation & Logistics / Go Minis Portable Storage acted as the emcee for the evening. John Clancy sponsored the location, food and provided entertainment to help ensure that all of the funds raised would go towards the WWP. Other members of Clancy Relocation & Logistics were also present and helped plan the evening’s logistics.
“Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, donated and supported this. TOTAL TEAM EFFORT! Much thanks to the Women’s Council of REALTORS in both NY and CT, we at Clancy value our affiliation with all of you!” was shared on the Clancy Facebook page the day after the event along with dozens of photos (click here to view more photos on facebook).
Thanks indeed go to all guests and generous sponsors because 100% of the funds collected for entry and raffles are going to the Wounded Warrior Project. Final donation amount to be announced at a later date.
