This coming Sunday May 15, 2011 team “Clancy Moving to Make Great Strides” will participate in the Putnam County Cystic Fibrosis fundraising walk.
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a devastating genetic disease that affects tens of thousands of children and young adults in the United States. Research and care supported by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is making a huge difference in extending the quality of life for those with CF. Nearly 90 cents of every dollar of revenue raised is available for investment in vital CF programs to support research, care and education.
Jennifer Storms is this year’s Team Leader joined by Co-Team Leaders Mathew Horn and Lisa Stevens respectively. They will be joined by over two dozen other Clancy employees as well as family and friends. This year promises to be bigger and better!
Storms writes,
“Last year we participated in the Great Strides Cystic Fibrosis Walk for the first time. We would like to walk again this year with even greater participation, which would mean more money for this important cause. Please, if you can, walk with us! If you cannot join us by walking, please consider making a tax-deductible donation. ANY amount is appreciated and helpful!”
Over $1,500. has been raised of the team’s ambitious fundraising goal of $7,500. With the event being only a few days away – every dollar counts!
